Xanthia paused, and then smiled, darting after the smaller nobody. it was a strange.....feeling? no, something, but not that, strange something, chasing after Ko for no other reason other than the fact that she could, tail beating against the water as she followed him, smiling, a laugh threatening to spill over her lips.

Ko looked behind him to see if his leader was following after him. He slowed his movements just a tiny bit so she could catch up. "I'll race you to that rock!" He shouted to her as his child sized hand pointed at a large rock in the distance.

Xanthia nodded, knowing she would lose, trying her best all the same, water pulsing over her in a nice way, making her giggle a bit. "okay then~" she chirped.
something about this world, it just made her feel....weird, happy? something like that....

Ko slowed down a bit more. He was trying to let Xanthia win. He knew he could have easily won the race, but he also had more time in this world to get used to the weird way of walking. He didn't let her win because he felt she was handicapped though, it was just something....nice to do.

Xanthia blinked when she pulled ahead, nearly crashing into the rock as she looked back at Ko. Instead she merely had to use her tail to stop herself, blinking at the rock now inches from her face. "I...win?" she mumbled, looking confused, purple eyes wide.

Ko clapped his hands and smiled. "Great job Xanthia!" He swam up next to her. "That was excellent"

Xanthia blinked again, looking over at the blue haired nobody next to her. "uhm...th-thank you, Ko" she mumbled, voice dazed, as if she couldn't process the fact that she had actually won.

Ko stretched and started to swim towards another out cove. "Let's go rest a bit. That wore me out a bit."

Xanthia nodded, moving slowly after Ko. It was odd, being somewhere she knew the moonlight would never truly touch, it was strange, an empty cold sort of feeling, the feeling, one might get if they were in a cool room, with nobody to speak to save for themselves.

Ko sat down and smiled at her. "You look tired." He sat down on a rock and patted the spot next to him.

Xanthia forced a soft laugh, sitting down and leaning back on her hands, fingers gentle against the cold rock surface. "you could say that" she said softly, "it's a good word to explain it...a bit drained down here yeah..." she yawned, raising one hand to cover her mouth before draping that same hand over her waist, drumming her fingers gently against her tail.

Ko nodded. "Perhaps we should get you to the castle garden....or." He held out his hand so Xanthia could take it. "Come with me."

Xanthia blinked, but extended her hand, fingers gentle against Ko's. She'd never touched another nobody in such a gentle way, not on purpose anyway, and while the feeling...feeling? was it one?...no, maybe not... Was strange, she rather enjoyed it, Ko's skin much warmer than the water around them.

Ko wrapped his fingers around Xanthia's and started to pull her up. "I'll show you the moon." He began to swim towards the surface of the water. He knew Xanthia would appreciate it.

Xanthia blinked, following after, though she hardly had to do much, Ko helping her to swim. "the, moon?" she asked slowly, yes, it excited her, the faintest rush of blood through her veins at the thought of seeing the thing she held so dear to her nonexistant heart.
